I acknowledge that this waiver and release of liability form will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organizers, including SWIDBA and the City of Star in which I may participate and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at this event. I certify that I am physically sound, healthy enough to participate in this event, and I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical physician. I hereby act for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, and successors. I hereby Waive, Release and Discharge from any claims, losses, or liabilities for death, disease, disability, personal injury, property damage, theft or damage of any kind resulting from my participation in this event. I also grant permission to use my picture in any broadcast, telecast, or photo taken at this event. I understand this is not a competitive event and I agree to adhere to event rules. I hereby certify that I have read this document and completely understand all of its contents. I understand that all entries are non-refundable and non-transferable and this event happens rain or shine.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and its variants exist in any public space where people gather, and no precautions can fully eliminate the risk of exposure. By attending the Reindeer Ramble, you expressly agree to comply with all rules and safety guidelines put in place by the event organizers and voluntarily assume all risks and liability related to exposure to COVID-19, which may include severe illness and death. You also agree to waive all claims and potential claims against the City of Star, SWIDBA, the Reindeer Ramble, and all affiliated companies relating to such risks.
